Welcome to the City of Chanute!  Our community of 9,100 has energetic historic downtown charm, rich wildlife and parks, and tremendous 1G fiber optic broadband services for businesses and public organizations.  We are a full-service city, offering electric, gas, water, refuse, and wastewater services.  I am the Public Relations Director and will be using this public blog to post updates and answer questions on city-related projects and services.  My goal is to provide timely and accurate information.  I look forward to working with you!
